Each person was just as stunned as the next and the gratitude showed on their face. Even the cashiers were overcome with emotion at this special moment. But when Dave Hall and the Surprise Squad met Larry Robeson, a Vietnam veteran who has made it his mission to give back, they were the ones left touched.
This man's incredible story will leave a mark on your heart and I'm so glad he was able to get the kindness he truly deserves.

When many people were displaced from their homes, he opened his stores to offer shelter and provide food for those in need. Thanks to his graciousness, hundreds of people have a place to sleep and 3 meals a day.
Jim knows that he may be losing money by sheltering the flood victims, but he says 'We can afford that and what we can't afford is to cause these people to lose hope, we got to give hem hope.' What a blessing to see this kindness of humanity during this natural disaster.

32-year-old Annie Smith thought she may have her baby at home when she went into labor during Hurricane Harvey. Floodwaters surrounded her apartment and their was no way her husband would be able to drive her to the hospital. The couple are both doctors, so they began to gather up supplies around the house in case the baby came.
Then, a neighbor stopped by and saw the situation. They sent out an e-mail to the complex and at least 15 people came right away to help the Smiths. Throughout this time, the couple has been calling 911 for assistance.
Thankfully, helped arrived but they still needed to get Annie out to the large vehicle. The neighbors all formed a human chain and helped get her onto the truck and off to the hospital. 12 hours later, the baby arrived and both mom and infant are doing great.
God bless these neighbors that came together in Annie's time of need!
