2 Teens Go Viral With 'Let It Be' Street Performance

Check out these two talented teen street performers play ‘Let It Be’ by The Beatles, and watch the audience sing along!

“When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be, and in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, whisper words of wisdom, let it be”

The teen violinist is Karolina Protsenko, and she is playing with Oscar Stembridge.

“My violin cover of ‘Let It Be’ (original by The Beatles) with Oscar Stembridge. His voice is angelic,” Karolina writes in the caption of this YouTube video. “Look at people's incredible reaction. They were singing along. Oscar came from Sweden to Santa Monica, California where we performed together. I hope you like it.”

As you watch these two perform together, you cannot help but smile at their impressive talent. Their rendition of ‘Let It Be’ is beautiful and inspiring, and both of their vocals were top notch. Not to mention their fantastic piano and violin playing! No wonder this video went viral online!

“I am thunderstruck by so much talent in these amazing youngsters! What a bright future is in store for them - and us too!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“Great job! Love how everyone joined in. That is a huge compliment to the performers when onlookers join in. Keep up the beautiful performances,” writes another person online.

The song ‘Let It Be’ was part of the album of the same title by The Beatles. It was the 12th and final studio album for the group, and it was released in May 1970.

We hope that you enjoyed this wonderful version of ‘Let It Be’ by Karolina and Oscar and their performance was able to bring a smile to your face.

2 Brothers Perform “A Million Dreams” With Their Best Impressions

This America’s Got Talent video clip features two brothers performing “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman with their best impressions.

But impressions is just one of the talents featured in this performance! There are visual effects and multiple musical instruments, awesome vocals (without impressions), and even gymnastics! What more might they add to future performances?

Meet Arizona brothers Nate and Gabriele Brown. The brothers are U.S. Navy Veterans, and both have autism. And while their last name may not be very colorful, their performances absolutely are!

As the performance begins, we see the two, dressed in white against cobalt blue, vertical light beams. Nate plays the keyboard, and Gabriele sings. By the time they are 30 seconds in, they’ve channeled Mickey Mouse, Venom, Goofey, and Elmo. Sweet Elmo! Each one is better than the last!

Simon Cowell and Blake Shelton impressions follow, and then it gets really interesting! Two turquoise light beams are added, and two brothers are added! Now there are two Nates and two Gabrieles, and one of them sounds incredibly like Bon Jovi!

Next, come pink lights and the Bee Gees. Finally, Gabriele sings in his own voice, which is amazing, by the way, and Nate is now playing the drums—in addition to the other three instruments he’s already handling. It is a visual feast!

The choir and the band are bringing it home, but there is one final, fantastic surprise. Gabriele and Nate come together center stage, and with a lifted foot and a fling, Nate does a backflip with his axe still in his hands! It’s nuts!

The final note, faux fireworks, and plenty of fanfare follow!

Gabriele and Nate have been performing for years, but things haven’t always been easy. Although each has their own musical goals and careers, it took them four years to finally make it to the AGT stage

They shared a bit of their story with KVOA News4Tucson. Nate said of their autism diagnoses, "Who doesn't experience bullying in some sense growing up. So, everyone has their own defense mechanisms. And I think the big thing with AGT was it was kind of like a cool platform for us to kind of a way to help people who don't really feel like they fit in."

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:14

1976 Performance Of John Denver And Olivia Newton-John Singing “Fly Away”

It’s all about the words and the simple delivery of the song in this 1976 performance of John Denver and Olivia Newton-John’s singing “Fly Away.” Without any showy vocal tricks, the song relies completely on the message and the beauty of the voices. And, “Fly Away” is truly a beautiful song, written in 1975 by John Denver, who penned and composed approximately 200 songs in his lifetime.

Folks have speculated on the meaning behind the song. Was it written about a woman wanting to escape the city and get back to a rural community? Is it a statement about mental health and depression? Could it be about a woman experiencing dementia or Alzheimer’s? It seems certain that loneliness is at the center of the song, and the two artists convey the feeling wonderfully.

Here are a few lines from “Fly Away”:

All of her days have gone soft and cloudy
All of her dreams have gone dry
All of her nights have gone sad and shady
She's getting ready to fly

Whatever the interpretation, there is a sadness in the song. There is a sadness, too, as we watch these two performers, John Denver and Olivia Newton-John, 35 and 28 at the time, respectively. Both always appeared to be warm, caring, honest, and genuine individuals. Both are now gone.

John Denver died at the age of 53 as a result of an accidental plane crash; he was an experienced pilot. Olivia Newton-John, much more recently, died at 73 after a long battle with cancer.

This performance from John Denver’s 1976 Christmas Special is noticeably missing stuff—red and green filling the screen, a fancy set, lavish costumes, and really anything “extra.” That is what makes it so very special. All we experience is the warmth, the caring, the honesty, and the genuine human situation that’s being described in John Denver’s ballad.

Legions of fans around the world have experienced a touch of loneliness with the loss of these two brilliant artists, but Heaven is no doubt enriched!

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalms 32:7

Kodi Lee Returns To AGT Stage With 'Don't Stop Believin'

America’s Got Talent standout, Kodi Lee, returns to the stage for an awe-inspiring performance of ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ with Teddy Swims and Neal Schon.

This iconic song was a chart topper in 1981 for the rock band, Journey. This song was inspired by a phrase that keyboardist Jonathan Cain's father would say to him. Anytime Jonathan would get discouraged about his musical career, his father would say, "Don't stop believing or you're done, dude."

“Just a small-town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere”

We first met Kodi when he auditioned for the 2019 season of the popular talent competition. He earned the golden buzzer from judge Gabrielle Union for the emotional performance of ‘A Song For You.’

Before the audition, Kodi Lee won hearts all over the world when he shared that he was blind with autism. But Kodi is a musical prodigy with perfect pitch and audio photographic memory. This means that he can remember music after hearing it only once.

Now, Kodi is back on the AGT stage for another star-worthy performance. Just listen as he belts out the words of ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ with fellow musicians Teddy Swims and Neal Schon.

“Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feeling”

What a delight to see Kodi back on stage where it all started! He’s only gotten better with time and I’m so ready to see what this young man does next.

10-Year-Old Clara Mae Sings 'You'll Never Walk Alone'

Rejoice in the fellowship of our Lord as young Clara Mae performs a stunning rendition of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’

This iconic song was originally a show tune from the musical Carousel. Talented composers Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein wrote the song in 1945.

In later years, other artists lent their vocals to the tune and gave it mainstream media attention. Elvis Presley released his rendition of the single in 1967 and even titled his album after the song.

“When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.”

10-year-old Clara Mae has been making waves on the Internet for the past few years. You may recognize her as a part of the viral Rise Up Children’s Choir or from her worship covers such as ‘King Of Kings’ and ‘Come Thou Fount.

Now, Clara Mae is back with her friends, and fellow musicians, Savannah Jones, Sarah Arnesen Marshall, and Emily Olsen Rus for an inspiring cover of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’

“Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.”

On YouTube, Clara’s family shared the inspiration behind this cover. “Clara heard this song as a little girl at a Celtic Woman concert and hoped to sing it someday.”

What a beautiful reminder that with God by our side, we are never alone in the this world.

1 John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us.”

2 Sisters Sing Inspiring Cover Of 'The Climb'

It is always amazing when a family comes together to join in a shared talent. In this video, two sisters sing an inspiring cover of “The Climb.”

Lucy and Martha Thomas are seen in this music video. As one sister starts, she has the voice of an angel. It is rich, unique, and so easy to listen to. The other sister joins in and has a higher pitch that is equally stunning and angelic.

They are absolutely mature in voices beyond their years. They adorably sing together as they sit on a fence at a farm during the sunset. It is a very fitting setting for the song.

The girls have stunning harmonies and blend so perfectly since they are sisters. There are clips of them pointing and fixing their hair, doing girly things. They sing with passion and clarity.

They appear to be really good friends, which makes everything even cuter. As they sing their duet, they are sharing the message about how life is about the journey and keeping your faith in the midst of the difficulties and the challenges, just like climbing the mountain.

In life, we will have struggles, but we can take heart because Jesus has overcome the world. This is a concept of faith in God. We are forgiven and fully redeemed but are also being sanctified day by day. As we learn to walk with the Lord through different life situations, may we cling to Him and remember that we are never alone on the climb. He is with us every step of the way.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

TobyMac Opens Up For The First Time After Losing Son To Tragic Overdose

It was one fatal mistake, and now his son is gone forever.

TobyMac opens up for the first time after losing his son to a tragic overdose. The last time Toby saw his son Truett alive was the first time Truett was up on a stage living his dream of following a career like his dad’s. Toby had never been more proud.

TobyMac was supposed to be on a flight to Canada, but he pushed it back so he could watch his son perform for the first time. "I had to be there. He crushed it. He knocked it outta the park. I gave him a hug, and I said, 'I love you, son. I'm proud of you, man,' and I walked away,” TobyMac said.

Later that night he got a text from Truett which read,”Dad, you've always made me feel like a superhero."

Then he received the phone call no parent ever wants to receive while he was on a tour bus in Canada. Truett had died. TobyMac was numb and in shock. He recalls that he had probably asked over two dozen times if it was true.

TobyMac and his wife Amanda learned their son had died in his home from an accidental overdose of fentanyl. As far as everyone knew, it had been the first and only time Truett had ever bought drugs.

As the family grieved their loss, TobyMac went back to writing music as a way to heal and a way to move forward, which is how his new album ‘Life After Death’ came about. It’s about a journey to where he is today while relying heavily on God and his family.

Some of the songs on this album were co-written with TobyMac’s daughter Marlee which is how ‘Everything About You’ was produced. It talks about everything the family misses about Truett.

What a blessing to TobyMac’s fans to have the privilege to listen to songs that heal up our wounds, pick us up on our darkest days and remind us that God is with us through the best and worst days of our lives. We know through God’s word there is indeed life after death.

Psalms 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Kathie Lee Gifford Shares Message Behind New Faith-Based Film And Book With Hoda And Jenna

Are you in need of a little hope? Well, here’s a small dose of hope in the form of an uplifting video about faith, God, and the journey to hope. Kathie Lee Gifford shares a message behind her new faith-based film and book with Hoda and Jenna.

Kathie’s new book, ‘The God Of The Way: A Journey into the Stories, People, and Faith That Changed the World Forever’ releases on August 30. But there’s more! This book is the companion to the film titled, ‘The Way,’ which she produced with her fellow co-author and co-producer, Rabbi Jason Sobel. Kathie says one without the other is like a nice dinner with no dessert.

The pair share their perspective on how little changes in life can create more fulfillment and hope. Rabbi Jason says many of the characters in both the book and film were living in hopeless situations we can all relate to, but the beauty of each story is how God showed up. He goes on to tell Hoda and Jenna that the word ‘Tikva’ is the Hebrew word for hope, which means: to stretch or strengthen. Then he says something that is absolutely mindblowing, we have to be stretched in order to be strengthened. Isn’t that the truth?

Many of us are dealing with struggles like our finances, a rough patch in marriage, parenting a wayward child, or dealing with a health crisis. We’re being stretched beyond what we think we can carry, but that’s when God steps in to strengthen us and provide a redeeming dose of hope.

Kathie shares that millions of little miracles are happening all around us every single day but the key to witnessing miracles is having a heart, mind, and soul that is receptive because God is a gentle spirit who gently reminds you of who he is. He’s not going to knock you over the head with miracles and hope, as Kathie reminded Jenna and Hoda.

Rabbi Jason went on to remind us that we have to be willing to see the good. If we want to see God’s blessings, if we don’t want to miss what he is doing, we have to operate from a heart and mind that are looking to God to see what he is doing in our lives. It’s a matter of keeping our eyes on Jesus.

I cannot wait for this book to be released. What about you? We hope this message brought you some personal insight and hope today!

Psalms 130:5 “I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.”
