An education is something that will never be completed. It does not matter how many degrees someone has or does not have; there will always be more facts, figures and knowledge to acquire. Every day should be a learning experience, an opportunity to increase what we know. There are so many opportunities available to obtain information. They are literally all around us – desktops, laptops, cell phones and libraries. Anyone who says they have no way to learn or acquire knowledge isn’t looking or trying hard enough. Learning and obtaining more information will only make your life better, or at least that’s what we’ve been led to believe.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Greg, who is a college graduate, explained what happened to him after he got that coveted piece of paper. His job did not exactly get better. In fact, he hilariously makes the point that it might have gotten worse.

“I was a waiter before I went to college, and I came out a busboy,” he said. “If I would’ve gone to grad school, I am pretty sure I could have made dishwasher. I think I could have done it.”

Of course, a degree, while important, is not everything when it comes to the job market. Sometimes, there are factors beyond our control, regardless of how educated we are.

Seriously, there is nothing worse than a trip to the grocery store, and this is for several reasons. For starters, it’s nearly impossible to have a “quick trip” to the grocery store. No matter what item you need, there will always be someone standing right in front of it, holding and carefully reading a box of cake mix or Stove Top Stuffing. This won’t be a simple skimming of the ingredients, either. No, they will always be reading as if their life depended on knowing exactly what goes into red velvet. And don’t even get me started on the people for whom returning a cart is too much effort.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Kellen Erskine shares some thoughts and opinions on grocery shopping as well. He does not appear to be a fan of the activity either. However, what he proposes will certainly make grocery shopping much more interesting.

“The most selfish thing a human being can do is leave a shopping cart in an empty parking space,” he said. “Yeah, if you’ve done that, shame on you. You’re telling me you can meander two and a half miles inside Costco, but the moment you get to your vehicle, you’re like, ‘Not another step.’”

He is 100 percent right about the shopping cart situation!

Insurance is one of those things that nobody enjoys buying. Even though purchasing it is never a fun experience, we’re compelled to have it, by law, in some cases. Once we’ve selected a plan that fits our budget and our liking, the best, most fun part comes next: making monthly payments for it (heavy sarcasm, for sure).

As most people know, even though you pay those insurance companies thousands of dollars, when it comes time to use that insurance for what it was intended for, they, without fail, will try to get out of paying, usually through some technicality. That’s why people hate insurance companies in a nutshell. All we want is for them to hold up their end of the deal.

Greg is also not a big fan of his insurance company. In a clip posted on YouTube, he said he would appreciate it if his insurance tried just a little harder. More effort would be nice. What he suggests they do is absolutely hysterical.

“First of all, they say they’re going to send you an insurance card,” he said. “Stop calling it a card. It’s a piece of paper, OK. I want a card. Thirty-five hundred dollars I gave you guys last year; you can afford to send me a card. At least laminate the card. The library laminates their cards. I don’t think the whole library system made $3,500 last year.”

Later in the clip, Greg says that while the insurance company typically sends a piece of paper with directions on where to cut, he wants to go a different direction with it. He wants to make odd and unexpected shapes with his insurance card.

But even sarcastically entertaining those scenarios goes to show you how addicted many people are to their morning coffee and other forms of caffeine, which are happily supplied by Starbucks. However, the only problem with Starbucks (on top of the high caffeine and sugar content of their drinks) is their often-long lines. No one wants to wait in line for a drink that they need immediately!

In a clip posted on YouTube, Anjelah believes that she may have found the perfect way to get around those lines at the popular shop. Her hilarious solution for avoiding those lines all comes down to how she is dressed. It all sounds great at first, but there is one major flaw to her plan.

She discovered a store that sells scrubs, and the best part, she says, is that anyone can walk in and buy some medical clothes. You did not have to show any ID or any type of employee status. If you had the money, they could be yours. She had a plan to wear those to Starbucks, hoping people would let her go ahead of them, thinking she had just come off a long shift at the hospital.

“It’s a genius plan, until there’s an actual emergency at Starbucks,” she said.

It sounds like she will have to keep looking for a solution.

Of course, how we respond will vary depending on several factors, including our age. For instance, a child will not react to something the same way a teenager would, and vice versa. Also, adults do, or at least should, respond differently to situations when compared to a child, a teenager or an elderly individual.

He talked about holding a jar and then dropping it at the grocery store. Initially, his first reaction to the situation was to high-tail it out of there, but he knew that wasn’t the adult way to handle that incident, and so he had to suppress that urge to run.

The preacher unexpectedly worked the popular fast-food chain into his message, and the popular comedian had the perfect reaction to it. Pastors in any given year will likely give close to 100 messages, and maybe even more, depending on how frequently a particular church has services. Since that number can reach triple digits, pastors have to find a way to change things up at times. John, who is a pastor’s kid, loved the pastor working Chick-fil-A into the message. He mentioned that he was hyped after hearing the pastor’s passionate words.

“I’m going to Chick-fil-A after this,” John said.

He later added that he imagined the pastor had written down only a bullet point stating “Chick-fil-A,” and that was all he needed. Additionally, he mentioned that the pastor talked like he had a connection to Chick-fil-A.

“This guy either owns one, or he used to work at one,” John said. “Also, like, he’s probably getting a cease and desist.”

Everyone likes the water. When the temperature warms, one of the most popular outdoor activities is to enjoy the water. It's just one headache after another when flying. Nate is well aware of the frustrations of air travel. In a clip posted on YouTube, he mentioned a very minor situation that airport security made a huge deal about. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.

“Once I was checking a bag, and the guy behind the counter sees my ticket says, ‘Nathan,’” he said. “The license says, ‘Nathaniel,’ and he was, like, ‘This is not good.’ He goes, ‘These names don’t match.’”

Nate tried to help with the dilemma.

“And I was, like, ‘But they match, right? Like, you can see the leap we took to get from one to the other?’” he said.

Later in the clip, Nate tried once again to help the man who was confused about the three different names.

“I said, ‘Look, I’ll give you that those names don’t match,’ he said. ‘But what I think is going to help a ton is the picture on the ID. Something that I’ve always loved that they did, and I think, with 70 percent of that name matching, and 100 percent face, it’s 170 percent. I think I’ll get through.’”

He mentioned what happened when he flew with a friend who did the Sign of the Cross before takeoff. He asked his friend whether that was for everyone on the plane or just him, because that could make for an awkward situation if disaster were to strike.

“I’m like, ‘When you’re doing it, are you praying for everybody?’” he asked. “He goes, ‘Of course.’ I go, ‘You better be.’ ‘Cause that’d be weird, wouldn’t it? This plane goes down and everybody’s dead and on fire in a cornfield, except for you just sitting there: ‘Oh, I should have prayed for everybody. I made a giant mistake. There’s going to be a lot of questions when the authorities arrive.’”

It's been said that English is one of the hardest languages to learn. It makes sense, right? You’ve likely been speaking it and writing it your entire life, and there are probably still several things about it that still confuse and confound you. This is after being required to take English throughout school.

One of the big reasons it is such a challenging language to understand is that English has all kinds of rules. However, there are also exceptions to every rule you were taught in English class. Admittedly, this can be tough for students to comprehend. But one of the strangest and most inexplicable quirks of the English language is the widespread use of letters that seemingly have no business being in a handful of words, simply because they are silent.

The funnyman, Gabriel Rutledge, isn’t sure exactly why the massive online retailer sent this to him, but he knew it was time to start losing weight when this happened. Weight is a problem for many Americans. There are a lot of people who would be considered overweight, with some who would even be classified as obese.  However, most, if we’re being honest, could stand to drop some pounds. Do we really need that second piece of cheesecake? Wasn’t one already enough? Perhaps, instead of scrolling Facebook for an hour, taking a walk might be a good idea.

While losing weight is something we know we ought to do, oftentimes finding the motivation to get started is an entirely different story. It’s much easier to sit and watch television than it is to run on the treadmill. Going to the gym isn’t much fun, especially when we’d rather be going out to eat.

When it came to finding motivation to lose weight, Gabriel didn’t have to look for it; it landed in his inbox. Amazon inadvertently gave him the push to start dropping weight in the most unexpectedly hilarious way.

“This is how I got motivated to lose weight; it was a weird way,” he said. “I got an email from Amazon, and the email said, ‘Based on your recent activity, we thought you might be interested in this.’ And it was a picture of a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.”

He added that, while he had never had a bag of chips delivered to his house before, he had an idea of why that particular item was suggested to him.

“I think it’s because I ordered an extra-large shirt, and then I returned it, and exchanged it for a double extra-large shirt,” he said. “Yeah, that’s when the hurtful algorithm kicked in.”

When it comes to school, not everyone was the biggest fan. For some people, school was a daily struggle, while others breezed through school effortlessly, without putting in little to no effort. Even if school as a whole was a piece of cake, likely there were still a subject or two that gave you fits. For me, the subject that consistently provided me with headaches and made my life worse was math. Seriously, every other subject throughout school was a breeze, but when it came to math, that was a totally different story. So, when Nate complains about his daughter’s math homework, I understand entirely, and I bet a lot of other people do as well.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nate mentioned how math is taught today and how it is expected to be completed. Who really uses numbers anyway, right? I mean, unless you’re doing a lot of everyday functions and tasks that require numbers and mathematical functions.

“She brought home Common Core math,” he said. “That’s fun. It’s a new math they invented. No heads up, just give it to parents who never learned it.”

Later in the clip, Nate explained to the audience the specific end goal of this new kind of mathematical system.

“And the goal of Common Core is to use one sheet of paper for every problem,” he said. “You just want to keep breaking the problem down. You put the problem at the top, and it just keeps going.”

Having a vehicle is undoubtedly a blessing. It’s freedom on four wheels, allowing us to go from here to there as we need, with relative ease. But then the next question becomes, what vehicle do you want? It must be something reliable, dependable and most importantly, within our budget. Now, we all know that specific thoughts and ideas are associated with particular vehicles. For instance, large diesel pickup trucks are typically thought of as work vehicles. An electric car signals that the person is environmentally conscious.

He adds what everyone would think if he were to call his personal vehicle a van.

He is 100 percent correct, and you know that’s exactly where your thoughts would go if someone were to say they drove a van but did not have any children of their own.

Weight is a big problem in the United States of America. A lot of people in the country are significantly overweight, some severely so. Of course, two things heavily contribute to the obesity problem in the United States: poor diet and a lack of regular exercise and physical activity. Most people lead very sedentary lifestyles, spending hours each day staring at computer screens and their phones.

People who operate clothing companies, like everyone else, understand that obesity is an issue, and so they produce and sell more XXL and XXXL pieces of clothing. It makes sense, right? You make what customers need and want. However, when it comes to certain clothing companies, sizes may vary. You might be this size with these branded clothes and this size with these clothes.

The funnyman dropped some knowledge and let others in on the words that people in the South have made up, and demonstrated how those new words work. The United States of America is a vast country, stretching from the Atlantic on the east to the Pacific on the West. In between are many different landscapes, topographies and cultures. If you prefer warm, muggy weather, there are regions of the country for you. However, if you, for whatever reason, are a cold-weather person and would enjoy experiencing those conditions for the majority of the year, several states in the country would meet that criterion.

Now, because the United States is so large, not everyone sounds and talks the same. For instance, an individual from San Antonio, Texas, and one from Boston, Massachusetts, will sound dramatically different from one another. Those two people will even have different words and phrases used to describe the same thing. In some cases, regions may even create their own words.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Mike mentioned some of the words people from the South have coined. He then, in hilarious fashion, demonstrated how these words are used in a conversation, which he knows full well from his childhood.

“One thing about southerners, we have the unique ability to just make up words,” he said. “We say words like “finto” and “fixin.” “Whathadhappenedwas,” that’s one word right there. That’s one word.”

Later in the clip, he shared his favorite made-up word used by southerners, one that he had heard his mother use frequently growing up.

“It’s five syllables, one word: whatchanotgonedo,” he said. “My mother said that my entire life. My mother said stuff like, ‘Whatchanotgonedo is keep running in and out of this house. That’s whatchanotgonedo. Whatchanotgonedo is stand in front of that refrigerator and hold that door open, little boy.’”

Comedian Dustin Nickerson explained why he is somehow both old and young at the same time. The popular funnyman stated that, given his age, he is in a transitional phase of his life, making him a little bit old while also still being somewhat young. Does anyone enjoy getting older? Of course, nearly everyone would answer that with an emphatic no. As far as most people are concerned, our calendars are only 364 days, with their birthdays somehow never making it into the calendar. Those dates are nothing more than an in-your-face reminder that you are getting older. No one wants that.

While we may not like or enjoy our birthdays, they are an inevitable part of life. They are going to happen whether we like it or not. Understanding that aging is an unavoidable process that everyone experiences, why not make the most of it? What other choice do we really have? We all get older every year, every day, every minute and every second.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dustin mentioned that being in his 30s, he is at a point in his life where he’s not really young but he’s not too terribly old, either. He is, as he states, in a transitional phase. He has found himself exhibiting a mix of both kinds of behavior – that of an older person and that of an individual in a younger age bracket.

“I’m in my 30s,” he said. “Thirties is not old. However, it is the start of old. I got a little bit of young in me, and a little bit of old. I’m in transition, alright? I still get excited about concerts. I also get excited about Kohl’s Cash.”

Later in the clip, he hilariously admonishes a buddy for doing something that he knew he shouldn’t have been doing at his age. His friend mentioned that he was unable to play basketball this week because he threw out his back while folding a sheet.

“I was like, ‘Come on, you’re 35, you know you can’t be doing that by yourself anymore,’” he said. ‘You free-soloed a sheet? Are you insane?’”

The odds are likely pretty good that we could all eat more vegetables. Put down the sandwich or that tasty, sweet treat and pick up a salad instead. Sure, theoretically, that sounds like good, sound and healthy advice. But when it comes to actually practicing that, how many of us are going to do that? Be honest, I won’t tell anyone.

Of course, some vegetables are more appealing and appetizing than others. What kind of a person would willingly choose to eat an artichoke, a mushroom, a beet or an onion? I understand that tastes and preferences are different, but eating an onion? Seriously? Do some people just enjoy the horrible taste and having bad breath all day?

A clip posted on YouTube features a comedian demonstrating the various ways people chow down on one of the best-tasting and most appetizing vegetables: corn. He may be exaggerating some aspects of how individuals eat an ear of corn, but not by much. We all know people who eat corn as shown in the video. Perhaps you might even spot your particular corn-eating method.

The first one shown is likely the most hilarious and one of the most common: the speed racer.

“If you ain’t first, you’re last,” he says. “Time me, Rick! Done! Think I broke a record and a crown.”

The video also shows the dutiful father slicing off the kernels of corn for their child, who, after the parent goes through all that trouble, eats exactly one bite of corn and states they’ve had their fill of the vegetable.

While all the corn-eating methods shown are possible options, the one I cannot and will not get behind is the one where the corn is slathered in butter. My corn will never have butter on it. Salt and pepper, sure. But never butter.

America’s Got Talent has featured many unexpected performers over the years; however, this little boy will leave you in awe of his comical skills for such a young age. He begins in a personal interview, sharing that his name is Nathan and he is six years old, which is basically seven or eight. 

You see a clip of Nathan with his little sister, pregnant mother, and father. They are a precious family. Nathan tells how he brought a good luck charm and gets ready to go on the stage. As he goes out, he shares how he is nervous and excited.

The crowd cheers as he enters the stage. As he confidently introduces himself, the judges and crowd instantly love him. He says instead of getting a million dollars, he would like a million Legos if he wins, and the audience laughs. 

He kicks off his comedy bit, sharing how he has ADHD, and as he explains what it is, he compliments someone in the crowd’s shirt. He says that he knows a lot about girls and how they often say one thing but mean another. He tells the crowd that his “mom, for instance, tells him to call her mom, and he has found out that is not even her real name.”

He makes hysterical sounds, and every judge loves him, and they give him 4 yeses. Nathan and his family are elated! This little boy will bring you immense joy and leave you completely charmed by his fun personality and honesty. He is so brave and really impresses the judges!!
