Comedy icon Carol Burnett says she’s got some serious Wordle skills. She shared how she has easily solved a number of the word puzzles while playing the popular game. Watch the short clip to hear Carol talk about her jaw-dropping talent and skill when it comes to Wordle.

Most people are incredibly familiar with Carol Burnett. She has entertained audiences for decades, using her trademark sense of humor and quick wit to send millions into hysterics. The Carol Burnett Show is a program that continues to elicit laughter from many due to its numerous classic and zany skits all these years later. If there ever were to be a Mt. Rushmore for comedy, Carol Burnett’s face would most certainly be included.

Carol is, of course, a comedy legend, well known for her comedic skills and timing, but sending people into uncontrollable bouts of laughter is not all that she can do. She has some awe-inspiring skills when it comes to the popular mobile game Wordle. In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol told Jimmy Kimmel that she has solved several Wordle puzzles on the first attempt.

“How often have you achieved the Wordle in one try?” Jimmy asked Carol.

“Seven,” Carol responded, much to the astonishment of Jimmy and the studio audience.

To make Carol’s feat even more impressive, she remembered every single word that she guessed correctly on the first attempt.

“The first one was audio, bacon, clown, crown, stash, talon and towel,” she added.

Even in her 90s, the Hollywood legend appears to be as sharp as ever. She is able to accomplish things at an advanced age that likely many people much younger than her are not doing. I know when I played Wordle, I never guessed the word correctly on the first attempt, and she has done it multiple times.

This emotional Christmas ad will have you reaching for the tissues. For most people, it will be nearly impossible for them not to have some kind of emotional reaction upon viewing this touching and beautiful commercial. Video is a visual medium, and so because of that, it’s always better to use images than a lot of words. It’s always better to show and not tell whenever possible. Why? Well, as the popular saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Yes, the written word is important and can and does have a powerful impact in our world; images are even stronger and often have a greater effect on us.

Another adage that applies in this situation is “seeing is believing.” People may doubt and question what you say, but they will have a much harder time raising those same questions and doubts if they can see it for themselves. Actions speak louder than words – see, we have a ton of sayings that essentially mean the same thing in this situation. Show instead of tell whenever it is possible, and that is precisely what one powerful Christmas ad did.

In the clip posted on YouTube, there are perhaps two or three words spoken throughout the entire three-minute clip, but the images and the story they tell are more than enough to bring even the most stoic and unemotional person to tears.

The clip features an elderly gentleman who is awakened by one of the most annoying, dreaded sounds and devices in the world: the alarm clock. Once he gets up, he springs out of bed and heads down to his garage, where he starts lifting weights. At first, he struggles mightily, unable to raise more than a few inches off the ground. 
 
However, slowly but surely, he builds up his strength even when his neighbor continually turns her noise up at the older man’s efforts. This goes on even though we are left in the dark as to why he is doing this. It’s not until the very end that we learn why he’s been putting in all of this work and effort, and it’s absolutely beautiful!

Christmas is the season to lend a hand and help those who may be struggling and in need without any prompting. That is one of the many reasons why so many people consider Christmas to be the best time of the entire year. People give to others out of the kindness and love in their hearts, doing so without expecting anything in return. What could be more beautiful and heartwarming than that?

Now, many people will often ask where and who they can help. I understand that people want direction in these instances, but there is need that is literally all around us. This world is broken and lost, with people hurting and struggling everywhere. It could be a neighbor, a coworker, a friend or even a family member who is in need and struggling in silence.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Secret Santa visited two young men, brothers who, due to their ailments and physical disabilities, rely on one another. If they didn’t have one another, their lives would likely be increasingly more challenging than it is already. One of the brothers, as mentioned in the video, is paralyzed from the waist down and requires the use of a wheelchair. To get into a vehicle, it takes his brother to physically lift him, while he is in his chair, and place him in the automobile.

This is undoubtedly a struggle, but they have both come to accept it as a way of life, something they must do. Secret Santa surprised them with a way to change all of that.

They were both clearly touched and moved by the unexpected gift, and even proceeded to tell the Secret Santa, whoever it may be, that they are welcome at their house at any time. Whatever they have, they are willing to share with the one who showed them love.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your mercy that renews with each morning. You see all things and know all things, yet You call me beloved and holy. Unsure of how to respond to his daughter’s direct, rapid-fire questioning, Jason reached out to his wife for some help.
